Just wanted to post a pic of what I received from litlaskvis.

I started working on Just Nan's "Snow Faces" Monday. I finished it up last night. Stitched on 28ct Ice Blue Opalescent Lugana from Silkweaver. I think it looks more "Ice Purple" than blue, though! Used all DMC floss. My LNS was out of 3 out of 4 colors I needed of Weeks Dye Works thread :(

I came across instructions on how to make a tuck pillow over at Cyberstitchers, so I decided to try it out. I used my mom's ancient sewing machine. (Her nice embroidery machine is in NY on vacation with her atm.) It took me 45 minutes to figure out how to load the bobbin! =( I haven't sewn much of anything before tonight!

This is a little fall decoration I made a little over a month ago. I saw something like it in Michael's for $130... So, I made my own for about $30.

.... your mother buys you a new shirt. You look at the shiny diamond-like buttons on it and think, "Hmm... wouldn't one of those look great sewn into the center of a biscornu!"

Heh... I don't think mom would be very happy with me if I cut the buttons off...

I can only hope that I get a stain on it. lol.

Feeling Kinda: silly

I finally was able to take pictures of my biscornu after having issues with my memory card!

I used a free blackwork pattern from The MonkeyWorks. It's called Blackwork Snowflake. However, I did change the designs on the corners. I also just used different shade of blue floss on 14ct off white aida. I don't care for the colors and fabric that much, but I just used what I had. I have like no fabric. It's about time to enhance my stash! I used some little blue square beads, but I think they are too big. Oh well, live and learn!

The good thing is I just got a new job and my favorite LNS is right on my ride home! But anyway...

I finished this a few weeks ago, just haven't had the time to post it. My pottery and basketry classes keep me busy! I'm also learning how to crochet.

My grandfather made the frame. I painted it and framed it myself.

I GOT A JOB!!

There's no need for me to go to the State Farm interview tomorrow. I was hired at the Polk County Sheriff's Department as a Procap Data Specialist. I will mainly be doing data entry which is fine with me. I had to take a Drug Test and a Polygraph Examination today. If my Drug Test results are back by Friday, I will start on Monday. I will be working at the substation across from the Eagle Ridge Mall, so the drive won't be too bad. I'm really excited. =)

Our puppy cried alot during the night lastnight. He drove us nuts. He is sleeping in the garage tonight. :)

I should be in class right now, but I stayed home because I didn't feel like driving there, I have cramps, I need to shave, I need to clean my room, and there's like a million other things that I feel I should be doing.

Okay, enough for now. I actually updated two days in a row!

Shhh... he's sleeping. His name is Sonny (or Sonny D as Daniel likes to call him). He's 5 weeks old and I could not tell you what kind of dog he is if I wanted to. Yes, it's true. His mom is a whore. =/

In other news, everything is going great with my husband and kids. Our room is almost finished! We can move into it as soon as carpet is laid. I'm extremely excited, but only because I want to decorate it and get a new bedroom set.

I have a Toyota 4-runner. I finally have something to haul my kids around in. Hooray for that. My truck is just too small.

Oh, and a sad goodbye.. I took out my two newest belly button piercings. I only have the center one left, but there is no longer green stuff oozing from my belly button.

I passed the entrance test for State Farm. I have an interview with them on Thursday at 9:15 am. I also am waiting to hear back from the Polk County Sheriff's Department. I believe they are waiting on my background check to come back. Wish me luck. Being unemployed is awesome, but I can't live off of my boyfriend forever. <3

I'd like to update more, but I think I'm going to take a nap with my puppy. He's already got a headstart on me!

State Farm just left a message on my cell saying that they want me to come in on Saturday for a Pre-Employment Test. Wish me luck!
